Moon to rise in UK

Posted on September 7, 2010 by Mike Riddell

It is with great pleasure that we can now announce a London gala premiere of The Insatiable Moon for Monday 11th October. The film will screen at Cineworld Haymarket at 7.30pm, as a special marking of World Mental Health Day. The premiere is in association with Thames Reach and arranged through our new UK distributors Blue Dolphin. This will be a high profile event with celebrities and VIPs – watch this space for attendees. The director, writer, producers and lead Rawiri Paratene will be in attendance.

Yes, and we are also pleased to announce our partnership with Blue Dolphin, who have taken on the distribution of our film in Britain. They are a long-established distributor of independent films in the UK, and have a proud history. We’re delighted to have their support and enthusiasm. The film will be released in Britain from early 2011.

These developments mark a major step forward in the international campaign for the film, and are the result of stirling work from Pip Piper and Rob Taylor, our UK producers from Blue Hippo Media. Join with us in celebrating this small triumph and spreading the word about the little film that can!

Always great to see that Motherland-Colonies thing turned on its head ~ a polar inversion in this case, and well-deserved!
Wish I could bi-locate, but shall be sending love your way that most splendid evening!
